The English language is constantly in flux, and with the advent of the internet, that flux has become more unstable and changes are becoming more rapid. It’s safe to assume that the English language of the future will assimilate many of the qualities, rules, and un-rules that Internet English is making so popular. What began as English almost 2000 years ago will end up as Panglish, an English influenced by the Internet and the English non-native speakers use when communicating on the internet. I have my bets on China and India influencing English the most.
